Basic cover
The Basic Insurance cover that is included is AED 150 and provides cover for content including personal effects (including
personal money up to AED 2,500) and household goods that:
- belong to you,
- you are legally responsible for or
- belong to resident domestic helpers whilst within your home
Buying or Renewing Home contents insurance
- damage due to fire, explosion, lightning, earthquake, smoke*, storm* or flood,*
- water escaping accidentally from pipes/equipment or fixed heating systems/water tanks,
- loss of contents due to attempted burglary/theft (when someone breaks in or breaks out of your house through
doors/windows)*, provided your doors were locked during the attempt,
- falling trees or branches, lamp posts or telegraph poles
Home's Content All Risk Insurance covers you for damage or loss of your belongings, all at a very affordable
price - whether you are in the comfort of your home or have stepped out. In addition to our standard cover, we
provide optional policy features, which you can add to your standard policy for a small fee. This way you can tailor
the cover to suit your budget and needs
We'll cover it if you, a family member, or a guest accidentally damages or destroy your valuables and possessions
If you're unable to live in your home due to the damage caused by accidental fire, flood or any causes not excluded in the policy, we will cover the additional expenses for an alternative accommodation during the repairing period
If your watch or jewelry is damaged or stolen outside your home, then we will cover that, too! While traveling your home insurance will also cover specific valuable which are not covered by the standard travel insurance
